Kingdom Lesotho Monetary unit is a loti which consists from 100 lisente. In the cash circulation there are coins of denomination 5, 10, 20, 25, 50 lisentes, 1 loti, 2 and 5 maloti.

The Obverse of coins of all nominal values is decorated by the plotting of the State Emblem of Kingdom Lesotho and an accompanying inscription KINGDOM OF LESOTHO (except for a coin in 1 loti where the arms are placed on a reverse). On the back coins of denomination 5 lisente against wood is represented national dwelling of natives, on the back of a coin in nominal value 10 lisente is seated the plotting of the Angora goat, the coin reverse in 20 lisente is decorated by the flower plotting.

The Back of a coin of denomination 50 lisente contains the plotting of the horseman on a horse, the coin in 2 maloti is decorated by the plotting of five inflorescences of corn, the back of a coin of denomination 5 maloti is similarly decorated.

On face side of a coin in nominal value 1 loti the portrait of the king of Lesotho is seated Moshen I, which in first half XIX century has made everything to aggregate all tribes living then in territory of modern Lesotho, having terminated thereby internal wars. Coins in the majority are produced of a steel.
