The French Pacific franc (Fr. CFP) the monetary unit which is in use in following overseas possession of France: New Caledonia, French Polynesia, Wallis Islands and Futuna.

In circulation, in territory of New Caledonia, there are coins in nominal value: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 franc CFPs.

In 1949 New Caledonia at that that then was called as the French Ocenia (now French Polynesia) have started to manufacture coins. Coins were with identical face side, but with different turn-overs (for each territory). These coins can be used in all three French territories. The situation of coins CFP is quite similar to coins of euro which have a national identity, but can be used in all countries of a zone of euro.
