Kingdom Denmark Monetary unit is the krone which consists from 100 Ore. In monetary circulation there are coins of denomination to 50 Ore and 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 krones.

At introduction of new monetary unit in Denmark in 1870th years, coins of denomination in 1, 2, 5, 10 both 25 Ore and 1, 2, 10 and 20 krones have been manufactured. Coins 1, 2 and 5 Ore were minted from bronze, a coin to 10 and 25 Ore, 1 and 2 krones from silver, and 10 and 20 krones from gold. Production of coined golds has been stopped in 1917, silver coins - in 1919. Iron has replaced bronze in 1918 and 1919. In 1920 Copper-Nickel coins to 10 and 25 Ore, and then, in 1924, Aluminum-Bronze coins 1/2, 1, and 2 krones have been entered.

In 1941 of a coin 1, 10, and 25 Ore began to produce of zinc, coins to 2 and 5 Ore at first from aluminium, and next year from zinc. Coins to 10 and 25 Ore have started to mint from a Copper-Nickel in 1946, Aluminum-Bronze a coin of 2 krones in 1947. Coins to 1 and 2 Ore have been introduced from the circulation in 1973, and in 1979 there was a new coin of 10 krones. Since 1989 of a coin to 5 and 10 Ore, and in 2008 and coins to 25 Ore cease to be a lawful legal tender. During the period between 1989 and 1992 years in the circulation there were coins to 50 Ore, 2 and 20 krones.
