Languages of the South African republic

The Population of the republic of South Africa is divided into the African majority and white minority. Africans speak on different, is frequent languages far from each other; white - in language an Afrikaans which has occurred from Dutch, and in English. Until recently the dominating white minority pursued a policy of an apartheid - rigid division white and Africans in all spheres of a life, including language. To Africans taught at schools only a native language that separateed them both from white, and from other African people. Movement against an apartheid, for the majority rights, went under slogans of distribution of English language. If the African languages disconnected the people, and the Afrikaans associated with colonial times English language suits all.
